Welcome to the Rose & Crown
We are small country pub and restaurant based in the Kent village of Hartlip and pride ourselves on being welcoming to all customers old and new.
We are now taking Bookings for Valentines Day Wednesday 14th February & Mothers Day Sunday 10th March.
unusually, for pubs these days, we have two separate bars for you to spend time with us. The Public Bar which is dog friendly and has an open fire and The Lounge Bar which is adjacent to the restaurant. Our garden is open all year with a large enclosed covered area known fondly as "The Lockdown Shed" this also has heating and plenty of comfy seating.
Generally, we have up to four real ales on at any one time all from Kent based breweries, a large modern selection of wines from across the UK, Europe and beyond as well as an extensive range of Ciders, Lagers, Craft IPA's & Spirits.
Our Restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday with a varied and extensive menu including Sunday roasts and an ever-changing specials board. As we only have a small number of covers its always advisable to phone ahead to check availability.
Hartlip & the surrounding area has plenty of walks and trails if you want to spend time enjoying the countryside and local orchards.
